Endorsements

Before you start - be aware of biases.

Consider: Whose values does this organization represent, and do they align with mine?

Approach endorsements with healthy skepticism. Consider what an endorsing organization has to gain from making an endorsement. Often money, membership in a particular network (formal or informal), political power, or maintaining a strategic relationship with a particular candidate or donor play a role in endorsements.

Every one of the endorsements below is made from a particular point of view; which means the organization will provide selective information based on the issue they care most about. Consider whether you agree, and seek opposing perspectives.

As a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we do not endorse or oppose any candidate or political party. The links below are provided for informational purposes only, to help voters access publicly available endorsements from recognized political parties. Inclusion of these links does not imply endorsement or support by the Committee for a Better New Orleans.
