As proud members of the Big Easy Budget Coalition, we help advocates, community groups, and residents influence the City’s Annual Operating Budget. We also work to make the budget process more transparent, accountable, and inclusive.
We create a residents’ guide to the City Budget every year, and offer training to community groups, advocates and neighborhood associations on how to get involved! Email info@cbno.org to schedule a training.

The Big Easy Deal
$171 MILLION FOR A THRIVING COMMUNITY
The Big Easy Budget Coalition works together to gather residents’ budget priorities and develop a resident-centered City Budget Request called the Big Easy Deal. The Big Easy Deal for the 2026 Budget includes $171 Million of investments in Housing, Infrastructure, Health & Food Security, Youth, and Community Safety. Learn more and support here.
