Tell the Office of the Independent Police Monitor how the New Orleans police are treating you.
2. Transform pretrial release.
New Orleans has historically been known as the incarceration capital of the world, but NOVAS is working to fix that by holding criminal justice stakeholders accountable and advocating for safety in our community.
Their current campaign is to demand non-financial conditions of pretrial release--money bail does not make us safer, it only keeps our jail filled with poor people.
