2023 City Budget Hearings - Your chance to get involved.

City Council has just released their hearing schedule for the Mayor’s proposed City Budget beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chamber.  All hearing days begin at 9:30 a.m. Any revisions to the schedule will be posted at https://council.nola.gov/meetings/.

Each day, the Council hears a presentation from the Department Heads of each City department and Parish agency about their goals for the year and the budget they requested. They’ll answer questions and hear public comments, and will have to vote on the final budget by December 1st.
